Be in a Hurry to Pay your Credit Card Debt
When you have credit card debt you find yourself in one of two positions: paying it down as fast as possible or taking your “good old time.” For most, the first option is the better of the two. No matter how much credit card debt you are facing you should be in a hurry to pay it down – this makes the most sense from a financial point of view.
Of course, being in a position to pay down your credit card debt in a hurry does not always come easy. The question you need to ask is: how much money can I comfortably pay towards my debt this month? If you have enough leftover cash to payoff your balance, go for it. On the other hand, if you need to pay a little bit at a time, due to other obligations, that is something to consider as well.
As long as you are in a hurry to pay your credit card debt you will eventually reach your end goal with the least amount of stress along the way. It is those who think it is okay to carry credit card debt that end up in trouble. If you have to carry a balance, so be it. Just make sure that you are still doing your best to speed up the process and rid of your debt as quickly as possible.
If you are not in a hurry to pay your credit card debt something is wrong. The only exception is if you are in the midst of a zero percent interest offer. But even then, this will eventually change and you will have to either payoff your balance or deal with finance charges.
All in all, there is nothing wrong with being in a hurry to pay your credit card debt. This is a good financial move.
